Ken left the Royal Air Force after 9 years where he was an Electrical Engineer. After leaving the RAF, he entered financial services in 1985. Following a successful start in Financial Services and then managing teams of Financial Advisers for 4 years, he set up the Abram Partnership on St. David’s Day, 1st March 1992.
Ken married Sue in 1989 and she is the Finance Director for the Abram Partnership.
Ken has a stepson Daniel Howell who is the Managing Director and a son James Abram who is also a Director.
Ken heads up the Abram Partnership Ltd as the Chairman and Financial Planning Director
He is responsible for strategic decisions with his team. His main role is advising high net worth clients and business owners. Ken advises new businesses on formation of corporations and business structures.
Ken is the financial adviser chosen by many business owners, entrepreneurs and millionaires for quality, tax efficient, long term financial planning, investment advice, pension advice, retirement planning advice and tax advice.
Hobbies
Ken keeps fit by training four days each week. In his spare time, he is a volunteer observer where he coaches motorists to be better drivers and become advanced drivers with the Institute of Advanced Motorists.

Dan joined the Abram Partnership in 2005 as an Administrative Assistant. Through the years Dan has continued to work in various roles from Paraplanner to Managing Director as experience and qualifications have continued to grow. Dan has recently passed his LIBF DipFA which mean he is now a qualified financial adviser.
Dan oversees the daily running of the Abram Partnership, researches recommendations and solutions for our clients, he is also a key member of our Investment Committee.
Dan married Leah in 2018.
Hobbies
An avid sports enthusiast, Dan enjoys Football, Basketball, Rugby, and F1.
Dan’s weekends are generally filled with Golf Courses and Football Pitches.
He is also a car enthusiast and a keen traveller.

James joined the company in 2018 after spending 10 years in the retail and customer service industry. He is currently studying for a level 4 DipFA qualification in financial advice and is also a Director of the Abram Partnership.
Currently, James is involved as a Paraplanner and is responsible for preparing Annual Reviews for clients.
Hobbies
In my spare time I enjoy going running and being outdoors.

Chris joined the company in September 2020, Chris has been working in the financial services industry for 12 years in a wide range of roles. Chris started in the Financial Services industry in 2008 joining AXA to work on their new ‘Wrap’ Platform , he quickly developed a passion for financial services, completing his exams to become a qualified financial adviser in 2016, the first in his team to do so. Upon being made redundant he pursued his passion for a financial advice and became an Adviser, deciding to join the Abram partnership in June 2020.
Chris has known the Abram Partnership team for over 6 years, having previously worked closely with Ken and the team as a platform consultant, as of such Chris knows the team very well and holds the same customer values as the Abram Partnership making a great addition to the team.
Chris is based in Bristol and his role is a financial adviser and mortgage adviser. Chris has a passion for helping clients work towards their objectives big and small with a particular interest in retirement planning and financial protection.
Chris married Gina in September 2011 after being together since 2007, Chris and Gina live in Kingswood, Bristol.
Hobbies
In Chris’s spare time he helps Gina run Adaptive Martial Arts a non-for-profit organisation teaching Martial Arts to people with disabilities. Chris is heavily involved in the day to day running of the business whether that being managing the finances, running the website and social media to helping teach sessions.
When Chris isn’t teaching with Gina he enjoys listening to music, aviation and spending time with his 4 house rabbits.

Claire began her career in Financial Services on an Internship Programme in New York working for Goldman Sachs after graduating from Swansea University with a degree in Psychology and Sociology. Claire went on to further her studies at Cardiff University and completed a MSc in Occupational Psychology.
Claire spent 10 years in Bristol and gained extensive experience in HR Resourcing across various sectors including Financial Services, Healthcare, Defence, Engineering and Utilities. Claire moved back to her hometown in Cardiff and decided to work alongside her father, Edward, who joined Ken in 2014 following a successful career as a Financial Adviser and has over 45 years of experience working in Financial Services. Claire started working with the Abram Partnership in 2017 as a Client Relationship Manager. Since then Claire has been developing her knowledge and experience working with Ken and the team as a Paraplanner and recently became an Adviser after successfully completing her LIBF Level 4 Diploma in March 2019.
Claire married Simon in 2014 and they have a daughter, Millie born on Halloween 2019 and a Cockapoo called Ted.
Hobbies
Claire enjoys long walks on the weekend with her family and taking her cockapoo Ted for a run in her spare time. Although she completed various running events over the years including the Bristol Half Marathon and Berlin Marathon, after becoming a mum last year the Couch to 5k has been her biggest achievement.

Sue joined the company in 2015 after spending 10 years as Community Education Officer for Cardiff Council. When the service she was working for underwent a restructure the offer of voluntary severance gave her the opportunity to join the family business.
Sue did not leave her roots in education behind completely as she still works part time for Cardiff Metropolitan University in the Widening Access department as an IT tutor.
Sue’s main role in the company is reconciling accounts and payments.
Hobbies
Sue enjoys keeping fit and trains at Better Gym 4 times a week participating in Group Fight classes and a Step class.
